Opposition Indian National Lok Dal was ahead in nine seats while ruling Congress was leading in eight assembly constituencies, according to the trends available for 25 of the total 90 seats in Haryana .
The Bjharatiya Janata Party, which severed ties with the INLD ahead of the polls, was ahead in one seat, while Shiromani Akali Dal, Haryana Janhit Congress and Bhaujan Samaj Party were leading in one seat each. Independents and others were leading in 4 seats.
The Congress was leading in Uchana Kalan, Ambala City, Ambala Cantonment, Ferozepur Jhirka, Israna Reserve, Panipat City, Sadhaura and Tohana. Om Parkash Chautala-led INLD was ahead in Thanesar, Yamunanagar, Rania, Punhana, Pataudi Reserve, Panipat Rural, Mullana Reserve, Ladwa and Bawal.
Finance Minister Birendra Singh was leading over INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala in Uchana Kalan while state unit Congress president Phool Chand Mullana is trailing behind Rajbir Singh Barara of INLD.
INLD state President Ashok Kumar Arora was leading over Ramesh Gupta of Congress from Thanesar.
