Bay Networks offers cable modem systems in India

Bay Networks has announced the launch of its data-over-cable solutions systems which provide a complete end-to-end solution for high-speed data transmission over cable television networks.

Bay Networks provides systems for high-speed data access via cable to home PCs. These can be connected to a subscribers computer offering services like Internet access, electronic mail, home shopping, personal video conferencing and bank-at-home services. Home entertainment and access to distributed multimedia applications are some other uses.

With increased competition and evolving technology, cable multiple system operators are constantly faced with challenges in this fast-growing industry.
