NIIT to offer training on CA technologies

NIIT, the software and learning solutions company, and Computer Associates India have entered a strategic partnership for offering higher end training on implementation of Unicenter TNG to Indian software professionals.

Venkat Subbarao, managing director of CA, says that the CA-NIIT partnership is part of CA's long-term commitment for India.

NIIT has created training material on Unicentre TNG that is being used by all training partnerships of CA.

"NIIT's vast experience in creating and delivering world-class instructional material for delivery through classrooms, CBTs and Internet and especially the excellent feedback on its faculty helped us to extend this relationship to India to enhance the technical skills of Indian organisations and IT professionals," Subbarao says.

"It is important that professionals from India master and use technology that drives business today. With this world-class training on Unicentre TNG, Indian IT professionals will have access to the latest and the best in enterprise systems management technologies," he said.

We are proud to be offering NIIT's own creation, the model centred learning architecture, as part of world-class education and training on CA Technologies."

NIIT's CA training is aimed at network administrators, database administrators, systems administrators and also those responsible for designing robust networks.

To qualify, students will have to pass Sylvan Prometric Tests for basic and advanced Unicenter courses such as UT 210 and UT 250, he said.

The NIIT-CA relationship will build further on the excellent feedback from learners on NIIT's Unicentre training in USA and Asia since the two organisations partnered to create training material on Unicenter TNG in May 1998.
