An integrated suite of products, Mastercraft is built for medium-to-large scale multi-tier generic and custom applications.

Launching Mastercraft, TCS Chief Executive S Ramadorai told reporters that Mastercraft can automate the generation of millions of lines of code for software projects.

"It will also find widespread use in complex application development and free clients from being locked into the obsolescent platforms," he added.

TCS claims that the project management benefits from Mastercraft include "quality delivery with high productivity, implementation of well-defined and automated processes, inherent system modularity and configurability, open architecture and unmatched flexibility".

Mastercraft operates on multiple technologies and has cross-platform compatibility at hardware, operating system and database levels.
