Through Docline, the doctors could get information in a summarised format to help them stay well informed, he added.

Ponnapa said besides providing general medical information, doctors could choose from 10 specialisations including surgery, gastroenterology, pediatrics, gynecology, ENT, dermatology, opthalmology, cardiology, psychiatry and orthopedics.

He said CIMS Docline has appointed a group of scientists to browse through world-renowned journals, the Internet, articles and seminars to collate subjects they felt were relevant and to bring it close to the doctors who have tied up with Hotline Paging.
