IT Secure, CMC hawk Y2K fix for desktops

IT Secure Software Private Limited and CMC India Limited have announced a strategic alliance to provide a comprehensive range of Y2K compliance tools and services for desktop PCs and networks to the Indian customers.

Being launched in India for the first time, these Y2K diagnostic, audit and 'remediation' tools have been sourced by IT Secure from 21st Century Federation, a global alliance of Y2K solution providers.

Commencing on the tieup, A Karnad, additional general manager, CMC, says, "We at CMC strongly feel that the tools offered by IT Secure will certainly increase the customer's comfort level in combating the Y2K bug. CMC Limited is India's largest IT service provider with 2,500 engineers at 150 locations all over India.

Claims Peter Theobald, managing director, IT Secure, "We are delighted to have CMC as our service partners for the Y2K project. CMC, with its wide network is ideally suited to meet the customer's needs of managing the compliance process in the area of desktop PCs and networks. We are confident that with their support and our automated tools, the Y2K project will become far more manageable."
