The coverage would begin at 3 am and is likely to last nearly two hours, Indian Space Research Organisation sources have said.

The satellite is scheduled for launch between 3.33 am and 4.23 am IST by the 117th flight of Ariane.

The European Space Agency would supply input for the coverage.

This would be the third time that Doordarshan would be covering live the launch of Indian satellites. The other launches covered were that of INSAT-2D from Kourou on June 4, 1997, and IRS-1D, launched by PSLV-C1 from Sriharikota on September 29, 1997.
