Database meet Comad 98 to be held in Hyderabad

Renowned experts from the country and abroad will converge in Hyderabad during December 16-18 to discuss the emerging challenges in database management at the turn of the millennium.

'Comad 98', the ninth international conference on management of data, organised by the Computer Society of India, would bring together researchers, system builders, application developers and designers engaged in data and information management and facilitate solutions to the issues in the next

With new technologies emerging in database management, especially in the context of fast growing Internet and information superhighways, the conference would visualise the future of database technology, he said.

Delegates from the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Italy, Spain, China and Sri Lanka would present papers at the conference that is to be inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Incidentally, this would be the first international event to be held in the state-of-the-art 'Hi-Tec City' in Hyderabad, to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on November 22, he added.
