Wipro Infotech to distribute HP peripherals

The Wipro Infotech Group and Hewlett-Packard have announced a tie-up, under which Wipro will be a focussed distributor for HP's high-end peripheral products.

Wipro will distribute laser printers, multifunction products and professional deskjets.

It will also undertake all activities related to market development, sales and

Wipro, which has been a distributor for HP's storage products such as the CD writer, DAT drives, magneto optic and digital linear tape libraries since 1995, has been awarded HP's largest distributor of information storage devices in the Asia-Pacific region.

The peripherals division of Wipro manufactures the Wipro range of dot matrix printers and distributes Epson and Canon inkjets, Epson dot matrix printers, Pintronix line matrix printers, IBM passbook printers and HP storage devices and consumables.
