Tata-IBM teams up with PSDI

Tata-IBM has tied up with PSDI India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Project Software and Development Inc of the US, to market PSDI's Maximo management software. The agreement is expected to be signed by the end of this month.

PSDI already has a deal going with IBM for worldwide implementation. This agreement with Tata-IBM is an extension of the same tie-up.

The US company, based at Bedford, Massachusetts, is also tying up with NIIT, India's leading training and software firm. NIIT will team up with PSDI for research and development and implementation of software.

PSDI is also setting up a research and development facility in India by August. It is intended to develop and improve software for Indian conditions.
