Proesters defy Section 144 imposed near Red Fort. They have been detained by the police.

In Karnataka's Kalaburagi, Police have detained more than 20 protesters of consortium of Left wing and Muslim organisation.

Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said, "Congress is behind protests against CAA and because of people like U T Khader situation is becoming like this.

"Taking care of Muslims is our responsibility. Request all to maintain peace. If Congress leaders continue to support protests then they'll face consequences." -- ANI
