Our PM's "Swacch Bharat' is a hollow slogan, when he's blind to the plight of thousands of manual scavengers forced to excavate toilets & sewer lines in inhuman conditions."


Gandhi was referring to the death of sanitation worker Anil, who died when he slipped while climbing into the sewer and the rope around his waist broke. He fell in the 20-feet deep sewer and died.


During investigation, it was learnt that Anil was not given any protective gear and even the rope was not strong enough to bear his weight. Anil was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
