Nitish appoints poll strategist Prashant Kishor as JD-U VP

JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar appoints election strategist Prashant Kishor as the party's vice president, says party spokesperson KC Tyagi.

Kishor joined the JDU, which Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar heads, in Patna, last month. Kishor has dropped enough hints about the beginning of his new political inning from Bihar. "Excited to start my new journey from Bihar,' he had tweeted last month.

Kishor may be given the task of negotiating with the BJP for a seat sharing arrangement.
