Cops at house of BSP leader's son to arrest him for brandishing gun

Lucknow police arrives at the residence of Ashish Pandey, son of former Bahujan Samaj Party MP Rakesh Pandey, who was seen brandishing a gun outside a five-star hotel in Delhi on October 14.

A video of the incident went viral on social media, police said on Tuesday.

A complaint about the incident was received by the police on Monday from the assistant security manager of Hyatt Regency Hotel in RK Puram, they said.

In the video, Ashish Pandey, who is the son of BSP leader Rakesh Pandey, can purportedly be seen brandishing a gun in the foyer of the hotel, a senior police officer said.

A case was registered against Ashish under the Arms Act. -- ANI, PTI
