One person has been arrested for the Amritsar grenade attack which killed three people, said Punjab CM Amarinder Singh in a press conference.
In the presser, Amarinder Singh said that while one person, identified as 26-year-old Bikramjit Singh, has been arrested, another will be nabbed soon.
The CM also refuted claims of the attack having a communal angle. He said, "There is no communal angle. It's pure case of terrorism. They were targeted as they were easy targets."
Three persons were killed and 20 injured in a grenade attack on a religious congregation on Amritsar city outskirts on Sunday.
The incident took place inside the Nirankari Bhavan at Adliwal village near Amritsar's Rajasansi, police said.
A religious congregation of the Nirankaris was being conducted inside the Bhavan at the time of the incident.
The Sant Nirankari Mission is a spiritual organisation and the Bhavan in Amritsar lies close to the international airport.
