Heavy and medium goods vehicles banned in Delhi till 11 November

In a major development with regard to the traffic regulation in the national capital Delhi, all heavy and medium goods vehicles will be banned from entering the borders of Delhi with effect from 11:00 pm today, 8 November.

The said ban on the vehicles will remain in place till 11 November 2018 up until 11:00 pm. The prohibition with regard to the heavy and medium goods came at a time when Delhi is battling with the severest air quality. The vehicles carrying essential goods will be exempted from the ban.

News agency ANI, citing Joint CP Traffic, Delhi, has tweeted that heavy and medium goods vehicles will not be allowed to enter Delhi from 11 pm tonight.
