PM offers prayers at Kedarnath

Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered his prayers at Kedarnath temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The PM will also review the progress of reconstruction projects at Kedarpuri.

After reaching Harsil near Kedarnath, he extended Diwali greetings to soldiers posted on the India-China border.

Kedarpuri, the township situated close to the Himalayan shrine, had bore the brunt of the catastrophic floods of 2013 which killed thousands of people.
