Kejriwal apologises to Gadkari, Sibal; next Jaitley?

Apology #3: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal apologised to Congress leader Kapil Sibal. The senior Congress leader's son, Amit, had filed a defamation suit against the Delhi CM for alleging that Kapil Sibal had a conflict of interest in seeking to revise a tax demand on telecom major Vodafone.

The other big defamation suit is the one filed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Reports say Kejriwal will also apologise to Jaitley later this week. In 2015 Jaitley had filed a criminal defamation complaint against Kejriwal and AAP leaders Raghav Chadha, Kumar Vishwas, Ashutosh, Sanjay Singh and Deepak Bajpai over their comments over the Delhi District Cricket Association controversy, seeking their prosecution for offences that entail a punishment of up to two years in jail.

Former J-K CM Omar Abdullah reacts to the AAP leader's apology spree. @OmarAbdullah tweets, "Arvind Kejriwal will certainly have less legal problems when he is done apologising but at what political cost? What will his audience think the next time he levels an allegation against someone?"
