Bharatiya Janata Party's parliamentary board meeting is underway at the party headquarters in New Delhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi party chief Amit Shah is attending the meet.

Earlier, BJP general secretary Ram Madhav said that the parliamentary board will decide on the future chief minister of Tripura.

The BJP and its ally Indigenous People's Front of Tripura today scripted history by winning the Tripura assembly polls, ending 25 years of uninterrupted rule of the Communist Party of India-Marxist-led Left Front in the state.

Apart from Modi and Shah, BJP's parliamentary board comprises Home Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari besides a few others.
