Kumaraswamy author's booklet on Cauvery waters

Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has authored a booklet on the Cauvery water scarcity which is being translated into Tamil and will be freely distributed in Tamil Nadu.

The 45-page booklet in Tamil will be first handed over to Tamil Nadu ministers, MLAs, MPs and main opposition parties. The book contains the basic points that Karnataka had raised in the Supreme Court.

Kumaraswamy's idea will obviously be opposed by the DMK and the AIADMK.

Kumaraswamy has explained how the water from Cauvery is in short supply, but if torrential rains take place the water will be made available to Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
