New Delhi political circles are speculating that the Centre's special representative for Jammu and Kashmir, Dineshwar Sharma, will be appointed the next governor of the state.

There have been meetings aplenty taking place in South Block and the the visit of NSA chief Ajit Doval to BJP chief Amit Shah's residence in New Delhi this morning, is significant coming on the back of the fact that tenure of incumbent governor NN Vohra is ending on June 25.

Kashmir seems to be top-of-mind for the PM as well, who spoke to the BJP president for close to 15 minutes this morning.
