PM-TN CM's 2019 strategy meet in July

Major changes in Tamil Nadu politics are expected by July. On July 16, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami are expected to meet in New Delhi. Political discussions and future formulations with the AIADMK will be discussed. The Centre wants the TN CM to try to get along with the TTV Dinakaran faction. The two leaders will discuss the 2019 poll strategies also.

Obviously, Palaniswami wants the AIADMK wants to go with the BJP, but the BJP wants the AIADMK to include Dinakaran. In which way this will blow, one has to wait and watch.

Palaniswami will face a major political threat from the Madras High Court Judgement on the disqualifications of the 18 AIADMK MLAs. Palaniswami needs to plan ahead as his own survival depends on it.
