Parrikar being treated well, responding to treatment: Hospital

Refuting rumours of Goa Chief Minister being treated for stage IV pancreatic cancer, Lilavati Hospital in suburban Mumbai issued a statement saying, "We categorically deny all such rumours. We reiterate that Goa CM Parrikar is being treated and is responding well to the treatment."

Earlier, some media reports had stated that Parrikar was undergoing treatment for Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer at the Lilavati hospital.

The Goa CM was rushed to the hospital on Thursday, with his office saying that he was in the city for a routine check-up.

Before arriving in Mumbai, Parrikar was earlier treated at the government-run Goa Medical college when he complained of stomach pain.
