Congress President Rahul Gandhi once again targeted Prime Minister Naredra Modi over Nirav Modi fraud case.

Rahul said that the beleaguered jewellery designer was allowed to loot India during demonetisation.

"This Rs 22,000 crore scam cannot have been done without a high level protection. It must have been known by the people in the government beforehand otherwise it is not possible. The PM will have to come forward and answer questions," Rahul told reporters in New Delhi.

Rahul said that the BJP has always refused to take responsibilities, but this time the PM must explain this.

"Nirav Modi took away 22,000 crores. PM can teach kids how to take an exam but can't tell the country who is responsible for the money Nirav Modi took away," he said.

"The PM must answer what he is going to do about it," he added.
