PM Modi speaking in the Lok Sabha for over an hour-and-a-half. He says the govt's efforts to eliminate corruption and black money are hurting a select group of people. "However powerful one was, if one has been corrupt, that person will be punished. We are in an era of honesty," Modi said.

"Lies are being spread to create a sense of disappointment among middle class; govt has given them new benefits of Rs 12,000 cr," he said.
