RBI keeps repo rate unchanged at 6%

he Reserve Bank of India keeps the repo rate unchanged at 6%, and reverse repo rate at 5.75%. The six-member monetary policy committee of the RBI, headed by the bank's chief Urjit Patel, which met for the last time in this financial year was expected to maintain status quo for the third straight review meeting as retail inflation is hovering close to the central bank's upper tolerance limit.
