Mystery behind AP CM cancelling Gita discourse
December 04, 2018  16:05
The Andhra Pradesh government withdrew permission to hold a Bhagvad Gita discourse today at the Andhra Bhavan in Delhi after a telephone call from the Chief Minister's Office in Amaravati.

Invitations to the discourse had been sent out and posters displayed about the event to be held at the Dr Ambedkar Auditorium in New Delhi.

Pandit Gangadhar Sastry of Andhra Pradesh was to deliver a speech on the occasion of the 96th birth anniversary of Padmashri Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao, a great exponent of the Gita in Telugu.

But the function was suddenly cancelled after a phone call from Chandrababu Naidu's office without any explanation.
