India's & Pakistan's Director General of Military Operations had an unscheduled 'hotline' interaction with each other.

In the conversation, Pakistan's DGMO alleged that Indian security forces had resorted to unprovoked firing and calibre escalation along the Line of Control, the Indian Army said on Friday.

To which, Indian Army DGMO said that retaliatory firing by Indian troops has only been carried out in response to unabated support given by Pakistan army to armed terrorists, the army said.
