Russia-bound aircraft makes emergency landing at Delhi airport

A non- schedule flight, which was asking for permission to make an emergency landing at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport has landed safely.

The Russia-bound aircraft from Vietnam with 345 passengers on board made an emergency landing at the T-3 terminal of the IGIA, after suffering an engine failure, Delhi International Airport Limited said.

At least eight fire tenders were present when the aircraft landed in the airport.
