IPL captains autograph Tata Nexon SUV, to be auctioned for cancer aid

Captains of eight teams participating in the 11th edition of Indian Premier League, which is set to commence from tomorrow, today autographed a Tata Nexon SUV, with the aim to increase awareness about the increasing cancer rate in the country.

The autographed compact sports utility vehicle will be auctioned and the proceeds will go to Tata Cancer Care Trust, formed to extend cancer care in India, Tata Motors said in a statement today.

In view of ever-increasing cancer cases in India, it has become extremely important to recognise the means and ways of early detection, Tata Motors said in the statement.
