Ryan murder: SC issues notice to Centre, state govt for report within 3 weeks

Taking cognisance of the murder of Class 2 student Praduman Thakur at the Ryan International School, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Centre and the Haryana government seeking a report within three weeks in the case.

Earlier, the Supreme Court agreed to hear the plea Varun Thakur who is seeking an investigation by the CBI or an SIT into the case.

Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar spoke with the family of murdered student and condoled his demise. He also spoke with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar who assured him of an unbiased and speedy probe in the matter.
