Just in: Bus conductor Ashok Kumar has been granted bail by the Gurugram court in the Pradhyumn Thakur murder case. Ashok Kumar has been granted bail on a surety of Rs 50,000. The school bus conductor was arrested on September 8 for the murder. His family has maintained that Ashok had been framed and was forced to sign a confessional after he was beat up by the police.

After the CBI took over the case it apprehended a senior student of Ryan International School in connection with the murder, rejecting the Gurugram police's theory that the killing was the handiwork of Ashok Kumar.
