A woman who managed to get out unharmed in the Mumbai blaze has recounted the horror of the fire on Twitter.

Identified as Dr Sulbha KG Arora, she wrote on Twitter, "The Kamala Mills fire started at 1 Above. I was there and barely made it out alive. Some were not so lucky. Praying for the injured and the deceased. It was the scariest thing I have ever survived!

There was a stampede and someone pushed me. People were running over me even as the ceiling above me was collapsing in flames. Still don't know how I got out alive. Some powers were definitely protecting me."

On Friday early morning, a blaze broke out at a restaurant in central Mumbai's Kamala Mills, resulting in 15 people dying and another 19 being injured.

Fire fighters and tenders rushed to the spot to help douse the flames that quickly spread across the complex, which houses restaurants, pubs, and even offices.
