Heavy Pak shelling kills BSF jawan, injures 2 others

In another ceasefire violation by Pakistan in RS Pura sector in Jammu late last night, two Border Security Force jawans and one civilian was injured.

One of the injured hawans -- Sushil Kumar -- succumbed early this morning.

Locals reported ceasefire violation with heavy mortar shelling in Pargwal sector of Akhnoor also throughout the night. Local residents took shelter as heavy shelling continued.

The injured BSF jawan is being treated at Government Medical College.

BSF said Pak troops target 13 border outposts and civilian areas along International Border in R S Pura, Pargwal and Kanachak in Jammu.
