Former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar took a dig at the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena on Twitter. On his Twitter account, he wrote, "One MLA party, MNS, not learning their lessons. With threats of vandalism etc they are certain to be a zero MLA party next elections."

The dig comes after MNS threatened mulitplexes in Mumbai of damaging their property if they screened Karan Johar's latest Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Thackeray's ggroup said it would intensify its opposition to Johar's film as it features Fawad. They issued a veiled threat of vandalism to the multiplexes if they screened it.

Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena executive president Shalini Thackeray said, "The producers can get protection for the movie screening, but are they prepared for the outrage of the audience once they see a Pakistani actor on the screen."
