Protest over OROP suicide: Rahul Gandhi detained again

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has been taken away from Jantar Mantar and detained while he was headed to join a protest by his party over ex-servicemen Ram Kishan Grewal suicide.

This is his third detention in two days.

CNN News 18 quoted Ajay Maken as saying that Rahul has been taken to Tughlak Road police station. Initially, it was said that he was taken to Parliament Street Police Station.

ANI reported that police escorted Rahul away from the protest site 'due to security concerns'.

Earlier, Congress members took out candle-light march for Grewal.
