TN, Kerala and Puducherry record high voter turnout

Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Union Territory Puducherry recorded a good voter turnout in the assembly elections, said the Election Commission on Monday.

Puducherry registered the maximum votes with 81.94 per cent, while Tamil Nadu and Kerala stood at 69.19% and 71% respectively.

"As far as turnout of Tamil Nadu is concerned, as per our information, the polling percentage at 5pm, it is 69.19 per cent," Deputy Election Commissioner, Umesh Sinha, said.
