Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, who had launched a hunger strike yesterday for not being allowed to visit the Simhasth Kumbh going on in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, will be taken for 'Shipra snaan' by the police on Wednesday morning.

The Sadhvi, against whom the National Investigation Agency recently dropped charges in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, will be taken to Ujjain early in the morning.

Sadhvi, who wanted to take a dip in Shipra river and had secured an order from a court in Dewas district, had begun a 'fast unto death' at around 9 am on Monday in Pandit Khushilal Sharma Ayurvedic Hospital where she is undergoing treatment by refusing to take food and water.

"Upset over not being allowed to visit Simhastha mela and take holy dip in Shipra river, the Sadhvi has started protest in the Pandit Khushilal Sharma Ayurvedic Hospital by leaving water and food since 9 am today," her close associate Bhagwan Jha had told reporters.
