Uttarakhand crisis: HC upholds disqualification of rebel Congress MLAs

The Uttarakhand high court has dismissed the plea of the disqualified Congress MLAs, challenging their disqualification by the assembly speaker.

It's a major setback for the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of the Tuesday's trust vote as now the dissident Congress MLAs can't vote in during the floor test.

Rebel Congress MLA Vijay Bahuguna said that they will challenge the decision in the Supreme Court.
