FTII receives parcel containing explosives, threat letter to Kanhaiya

A parcel containing a detonator and explosives, along with a letter threatening Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union president Kanhaiya Kumar, was received at Film Training Institute of India on Saturday.

A first information report against unknown persons has been registered at Deccan Gymkhana Police Station.

A Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad team examined the parcel.

Further investigation is on.
