2 Mumbai residents injured in Brussels terror blasts

Two Mumbai crew members of Jet Airways, identified as Nidhi Chaphekar and Amit Motwani, were injured on Tuesday in the explosions at Brussels Airport.

Chaphekar, who resides in Andheri suburb of Mumbai, is a veteran manager with Jet Airways with more than 15 years of experience.

The other Mumbaikar injured in the blasts has been identified as Amit Motwani. He has graduated from MMK College, Bandra.

According to the data with the website Flightradar24, Jet Airways flight 9W 228 from Mumbai landed at Brussels at 7.11 am local time while the one from Delhi 9W 230 landed at 8.08 am.

The Delhi flight would have reached Brussels just minutes after the bomb blast at the Departure airport at 8.00 am.
