Obamas Twitter silence on Modis visit not so unusual

Much has been written about the bonhomie and chemistry between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Barack Obama (or, Narendra and Barack, as they call each other), but strangely, on Twitter, the prolific Obama has maintained total radio silence on his dear friends visit to Washington and on the 3-hour meeting the two held in the White House on Tuesday.

Maybe it's not so strange after all. A quick perusal of the American presidents Twitter feed for the last five months shows that he does not use the social media platform to welcome world leaders or to exchange pleasantries with them.
