Don't speculate: Munich police asks online commenters

Munich police have asked online commentators to avoid speculation about the attack, especially on the force's Facebook page, reported the BBC.
'That would make our jobs much easier!,' the police said, adding, 'Thank you for your support.'
They have also opened a phone line for anyone seeking information about missing persons -- 0800 7766 350.
A police spokeswoman said, 'We assume it's a terror attack so that can ensure maximum resources and measures. If it turns out that there is a completely different background to this, then we certainly mobilised a lot of resources but we had a worst-case scenario covered.
