Dallas police shooting suspect was member of US Amy Reserve

Micah Xavier Johnson, the gunman who opened fire on Dallas police officers, served in the US Army Reserve. According to the police, he had no previous criminal history or ties to terror groups.

Police said that the shooter was killed by a police "bomb robot" during a standoff after hours of attempted negotiation. According to CNN, investigators arrived to Johnson's home, where he lived with his mother. He was described as a recluse. He told police he was working alone.
