Police being pressured not to oppose Kanhaiya's bail: Lawyer

Update on the JNU campus row: The Supreme Court says it is concerned about the law and order situation arising after the Patiala House court scuffle. The SC advised lawyers (opposing Kanhaiya Kumar) not to inflate the situation by giving unnecessary statements. The SC observation came when a lawyer informed the court about the police commissioner's statement which stated the police will not oppose Kanhaiya Kumar's bail.
A lawyer alleges in the SC that the Delhi Police is being pressurised not to oppose the bail of the JNUSU President.

Meanwhile, the Delhi police has registered two FIRs against unknown persons over the scuffles in Patiala House Court yesterday.
