Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi meets President Pranab Mukherjee protesting the detention of JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar and the violence in the aftermath. Rahul said that the Congress won't let the RSS impose its flawed ideology on students.

With Rahul were senior leaders of the party, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Sheela Dixit, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sachin Pilot and Manish Tiwari.
