JNU row: Rahul Gandhi, Congress leaders to meet President today

Rahul Gandhi and other senior Congress leaders will meet President Pranab Mukherjee today at 12.30 to discuss the Jawaharlal Nehru University issue and the crackdown by the police on the students. Yesterday, the row escalated even further after JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar was assaulted by lawyers in the Patiala Court premises while being brought for his hearing. Kumar was then sent to Tihar jail till March 2.
