Alagiri writes to Karuna: Stalin misappropriating funds

MK Alagiri -- suspended DMK leader and party chief M Karunanidhi's son, has written a lengthy communique to his father that there has been misuse of authority and misappropriation of funds by his brother MK Stalin in the DMK Foundation which runs the day-to-day affairs of the party. He has alleged irregularities in the running of Anna Arivalayam, the massive DMK office in the heart of Chennai. Out of six trustees, five are from Karunanidhi's family. The market value of the DMK headquarters is estimated to be Rs 300 crore.
