Woman throws flower pot at PM's convoy, detained

A woman has been detained after she allegedly tried to throw a flower pot at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's convoy.

The incident occurred today afternoon just when the PM was leaving his office in the South Block.

The woman in question was seen shouting slogans and tried to block the route to be taken by the Prime Minister.

An advance team had barricaded the road where the prime minister was to pass. But she refused to clear the way for the convoy, saying that she wanted to meet PM Modi.

When she was forcefully removed from the spot she expressed her anger by throwing a flower-pot at the convoy.

The woman, who allegedly insisted that she wanted to meet the prime minister, has been taken for questioning.
