Anis Amri reportedly shouted "Allahu Akbar' while shooting at police in Italy after being stopped during a routine patrol.

The Berlin attack suspect was shot dead during the gun battle in Milan in the early hours of this morning.

He is thought to have travelled to the city from Paris after a train ticket was discovered in his backpack, suggesting he evaded authorities in at least three countries despite being the subject of a Europe-wide manhunt.
